Increasing C4H's visibility
To increase C4H's impact, our aim is to raise its profile in the media, in the environmental protection community, in the space sector and on the web3.
Creating tangible impact on Earth's orbits
At the moment, our NGO's main aim is to draw the attention of citizens and companies to the issue of sustainable management of the orbital environment. In order to increase the credibility of our action, it is important to develop tools that will enable us to take concrete action…
Developing new tools to develop and educate our community
At the moment, our work on preserving the orbital environment and the crucial role that citizens have to play in it is not sufficiently accessible to the general public. It's important to find new ways of reaching a wider audience and explaining our objectives in concrete terms t…
Organising a side-event at IAC2024 in Milano
To raise public awareness of the environmental issues associated with space activities, our NGO is organising a side-event in Milan, alongside IAC 2024.
Conduct the first C4H's Label certification campaign
Once the alpha of the dApp is available, carry out the first test campaign with a partner company from the space sector.
Development of C4H's label certification dApp
In partnership with IXO, our NGO is developing a dAPP that enables citizens to realise the C4H's label certification. An alpha version is due to be delivered this summer.
Structuring the Cosmos Rangers community
Alongside the development of our dApp, the development and structuring of the Cosmos Rangers community is a key element: if there isn't a community, certification simply won't happen! The aim here is to structure the Cosmos Rangers by appointing Coordinators in order to establish…
Release the first version of the SpaceDAO's orbital trajectory conjunction viewer
Our sub-project SpaceDAO is building, in partnership with Parametry.ai , an orbital trajectory conjunction viewer. This prototype is build on smart-contracts developed on Ethereum. https://gitlab.com/parametry-ai/space-dao
We've published our first educational contents about Space sustainability, Game theory, the Commons...
We try to make complementary issues related to these themes accessible to people from different backgrounds. The issue of space sustainability can only be understood by making the link with game theory and Ostrom's theory of goods.
We've translated Kevin Owocki's book "GreenPilled" into French.
We have made it possible to make accessible to French speakers what corresponds to one of the manifestos of the Regen community.
We organised our first local event in Neuchâtel to present the work of our NGO and raise public awareness of the problem of space pollution.
The first members of our NGO have signed up for this event!
In partnership with the videogames studio [PlayCurious](https://playcurious.games/), we created a Space sustainability theme on their Trivia game [Mixstory](https://mixstory.playcurious.games/) for the international day for Human space flight history on April 12th.
While this isn't our first educational content, it is our first content aimed at a wide audience to get people interested in space and the preservation of its orbits in a fun way.
Cosmos for Humanity took part in 4 conferences and is also one of the first signatories of the European Space Agency's [Zero Debris Charter](https://esoc.esa.int/supporting-zero-debris-charter).
NGO is helping to ensure that citizens are taken into account in the development of tomorrow's spatial policies.
Thanks to [Charmverse](https://charmverse.io/), our work over the last two years on space sustainability is now available to everyone in a [dedicated workspace](https://cosmosforhumanity.charmverse.io/welcome-cosmos-ranger-5742007595330765).
Citizens interested in the preservation of the space environment, space pollution and space debris, and more generally in the work of our NGO, can find all this information on our workspace.
Cosmos for Humanity has reached a milestone in terms of recognition. Our NGO has been the subject of several [press articles](https://www.arcinfo.ch/suisse/claire-elss-fondatrice-de-cosmos-for-humanity-l-espace-doit-etre-protege-comme-les-forets-et-les-oceans-1353682) and our president Claire Elss was interviewed on the [Swiss public television](https://www.rts.ch/play/tv/forum/video/forum-des-idees-cosmos-for-humanity-long-qui-defend-un-espace-durable?urn=urn:rts:video:14657675) to talk about the sustainable development of space activities.
We have made a modest contribution to raising the profile of the issue of preserving the orbital environment in the media.
