zksoc is a privacy preserving social media platform powered by zero knowledge proofs. In the platform, people can form groups/communities based on their interests and their identities and actions are anonymous.
Additionally, in the groups you can also impose some restrictions to enter the group such as GitHub/Twitter followers, blockchain transactions and more.
Furthermore, you can also add more restrictions such as nationality, age, gender, etc.
Then, once the groups are formed, you can do whatever you want like sending feedbacks, casting votes, etc. All these actions would be anonymous, no one would know what actions did you send, they will just know that you sent some actions proving that you’re a part of the group and have performed an action.
Privacy is normal and is a fundamental right of everyone.
I believe that privacy has become a myth nowadays, user’s data is no longer in their control and is exposed all over the internet. The big companies always track user's data and then exploit them.
Privacy is normal and your actions and identity remain private in this. It benefits everyone.
For example - There are countries whose leaders oppress the community a lot. The platform can be beneficial for that people to put forward their thoughts against the oppression of the leader and take some action against the leader.
Secondly, everyone has some opinion on something but they’re afraid to say it publicly as it could lead to any controversy but they can share their opinion publicly on this platform without worrying about anything.
