We are a youth-led initiative in Uganda focusing on digital literacy and onboarding youth to the Celo ecosystem.
Our mission is to empower 100+ vulnerable youth in Makindye and Nakawa by providing direct access to the global digital economy. We bridge the gap between local unemployment and global opportunity by training youth in Web3 tools, specifically MiniPay and Celo stablecoins. Our goal is to transform 50+ 'unbanked' youth into 'digital earners' within 6 months, ensuring they have the skills to receive international payments and manage their finances with zero fees."
"In my community in Uganda, over 60% of youth are unemployed or underemployed. Despite having access to basic mobile phones, most young people are locked out of the global economy due to high banking fees, a lack of digital identity, and limited knowledge of stablecoin technology. This leads to a cycle of poverty and prevents talented youth from accessing remote work or global micro-aid.
