Web3Brand is a user-centric content brand and education community that focuses on Introducing Web3 & AI consumer applications and real use cases to 40k+ Mandarin-speaking audiences(incl. essays & podcasts), to help normal users can understand and get into Web3.

We're also the Media Partner of Token2049 due to our original & high quality contents (May be the only non-institution media).

Why We Build it and What Problem We Solve

Web3/Crypto is still early. Most current contents is either too technical for normal users to understand and know how to use, or too hyped and lacking long-term value. Chris Dixon's description "computer and casino culture" is quite apt. This also hinders more normal users from entering the space.

As public goods, Web3Brand hopes to popularize the practical value of Web3 to normal users through in-depth analysis from a user perspective, especially by showcasing the use cases of various applications. This allows users to understand the appeal of Web3 and enables more people to enter this space as consumers and builders.

Web3 application deepdive: From a user perspective, in-depth analysis of application projects' user scenarios and user value to help users better understand and grasp relevant trends.
Web3 brand building: Case studies of native IPs and global brands entering Web3, and how to use Web3 to enhance one's business.

Grants are primarily used for 3 aspects:

Covering content creation expenses, including but not limited to paid reports, content tools, podcast tools, podcast editing, etc.;
Covering travel expenses for external communications, such as attending TOKEN2049, EDCON, Devcon, ETHGlobal, Solana BreakPoint, Farcon, etc.;
Organizing offline community events.

In a nutshell , this funding enables us to continue as a public good, consistently delivering high-quality, free content to users, bringing out more Web3 use cases, and helping drive the development of this industry.
