<p>Vocdoni is an open-source, decentralized voting protocol committed to privacy, transparency, and end-to-end verifiability. Using zero-knowledge proofs and homomorphic encryption, it ensures that votes remain anonymous, tamper-proof, anticoercion and universally auditable. </p>
<p>Currently transitioning to a zkRollup based infrastructure on top of Ethereum, Vocdoni Protocol achieves full decentralization and addresses the main challenges of voting systems. The new universal voting protocol tackles critical issues like receipt-freeness, voter privacy, scrutiny transparency, and universal auditing, while eliminating the need for a trusted coordinator. Designed for scalability and accessibility, the system enables high-frequency, low-cost voting suitable for mass adoption.</p>
<p>Our plan is to launch the testnet in Q1–Q2 2025. With this launch, we expect to make a major impact on the Web3 by enabling use cases such as anonymous, anti-coercion, and gasless voting for DAOs and multisigs, while maintaining the same level of security and verifiability as onchain voting. After Q3 2025, we plan to migrate our existing portfolio of Web2 organizations to the new protocol while simultaneously expanding our user base.</p>
