VisaProof is on-chain infrastructure for the Celo agent economy: a four-contract protocol and TypeScript SDK that lets any AI agent prove, track, and signal its Agent Visa tier (Tourist / Work Visa / Citizenship) from verifiable on-chain activity. Every passport is gated on a Self Agent ID proof of human, so the activity it certifies is Sybil-resistant and cannot be farmed. All contracts are deployed and source-verified on Celo mainnet, with a published SDK (visaproof-sdk) and a live explorer at visaproof.vercel.app.

Celo's Agent Visa program rewards AI agents with liquidity and MiniPay access based on on-chain activity, but qualifying is manual: builders count their own transactions and wait for human review. It doesn't scale, and nothing stops bots from inflating activity with fake or wash transactions. There is no trustworthy, automated way for an agent to prove its activity or for the ecosystem to verify it.
VisaProof automates and secures Visa qualification. Agents submit proof of their transactions; the protocol aggregates volume across Mento stablecoins into a single cUSD score via the Mento oracle, counts each transaction once, and computes the Visa tier automatically from fixed public thresholds, with no manual review. A passport can only be created by an address that controls a Self Agent ID with a live proof of human, and the human nullifier is recorded on-chain, so every certified identity traces back to a real, unique person and the reputation layer cannot be Sybil-farmed. Tier and activity are exposed through a public leaderboard and capability index for agent discovery, and the whole stack is available to any framework via the SDK.
Open public infrastructure for the Celo agent economy. The core protocol and SDK are free and open source (MIT), funded for now as public goods via ecosystem grants. Longer term, sustainability could come from optional premium services (hosted indexing, analytics, an API for high-volume agents) layered on top, while the on-chain contracts stay free and permissionless.
