Unruggable is a research and development firm building the verified web through high-impact contributions to ENS. Unruggable created and maintains Unruggable Gateways, a core component of ENSv2, critical to scaling ENS including on Namechain and across all Ethereum L2s. Our work is consistently focused on the future of ENS, including supporting the development of secure ENS name resolution on L2s and crosschain identity relying upon next generation interop solutions.

What We’re Building

Unruggable is developing Unruggable Gateways, a key infrastructure for scaling ENS, including Namechain, Basenames, and subname services. We are also advancing research in crosschain identity, ensuring ENS adoption across L2s and unifying onchain identity records across multiple blockchains.

Our Focus Areas

Unruggable Gateways: Maintain and expand L2 verifiers, add support for new L2s, and manage the open-source repository.
Crosschain Identity: Enable ENS names to function seamlessly across chains using ERC-7786, OP Superchain interop, and other Ethereum-wide standards.
Secure ENS Resolution: Improve the integrity of ENS name resolution by incorporating verified onchain metadata, ensuring reliable access to identity records.

By building scalable, secure, and interoperable ENS infrastructure, we aim to establish ENS as the foundation of onchain identity, enabling seamless interactions across the Ethereum ecosystem.
