Trusted Seed is a global network of trusted actors committed to creating regenerative economies for public goods through token engineering and DAO governance. Through a rigorous membership application process, Trusted Seed has curated a list of value-driven individuals we ensure that only reputable and trustworthy actors are invited to participate in the launch of new DAOs/Commons and have access to initial token distributions from mission-aligned projects, thereby enhancing the integrity and security of these initiatives.
One of Trusted Seed's key milestones is the launch of the Token Engineering Commons, an open-source community of token engineers and researchers who advance token engineering. Trusted Seed members played a crucial role in the early governance and fundraising of the TEC, contributing to its vision, roadmap, and development. This successful collaboration underscores the value of a curated network of value-driven actors committed to advancing decentralized technologies and governance models.
Trusted Seed has also been hosting several spaces for our members to build connections and partnerships in the web3 ecosystem, learn new tools and skills, and become effective leaders.

From Donation to Action: Our Plans for Gitcoin Grant Funding
With the funding from GG20, we will design a quest that will integrate token engineering and climate action as part of our Trusted Seed Quests program. This integration aims to empower participants to develop innovative solutions for environmental challenges, using the principles of token engineering. While the focus is primarily on these areas, the inclusion of on-chain identity, through tools like Ethereum Name Service (ENS), plays a strategic role in enriching the quest ecosystem by providing projects with a distinctive digital identity and fostering trust within the web3 space.
The funding will be invested in crafting a mentorship-driven quest program, where experienced community members in token engineering will collaborate with enthusiasts from the climate action sphere. Together, they will design projects that not only address pressing climate issues but also demonstrate the potential of token economics to facilitate sustainable solutions.
The deliverable for each quest will be a comprehensive project plan, combining a tangible climate action initiative with an integrated token engineering model. As a nuanced element of this program, participants will be encouraged to register an ENS domain for their project, symbolizing its identity and commitment within the blockchain ecosystem. This aspect underscores the importance of on-chain identity in establishing a credible and recognizable presence for these initiatives.
To incentivize participation and reward the contributions of quest explorers, the funding will include token rewards such as $ENS, $TEC, and other tokens aligned with our community's ethos. These tokens will be given as an acknowledgment of the efforts and achievements within the mentorship program and the successful completion of quests.
