I am on a mission to resolve market failures and make capitalism work better and for more people
Capitalism works pretty well most of the time, except when there are market failures like externalities, information asymetry and principal agent problem.
I work on solving these 3 issues with capitalism.
Public goods = value creation - value capture
Public bads are where value capture > value created
Impact certificates can quantify the value created and subtract from value captured to determine the level of funding required for a project.
I write prolifically on twitter, to solve the market failure of information asymmetry. An example is grants where the most qualified and in need people sometimes dont apply because they aren't aware of the opportunity.
I participate in DAO governance as I think it is the best bet of solving principal agent problems, where the person appointed to represent someone instead acts in their own best interest
