Following our first Outreach, we worked with Griff at Pairwise. Pairwise and Optimism are collaborating on using the Pairwise swiping technique to prioritize proposals within the Optimism Rounds. Being that their were 164 projects, pairwise comparison would involve 13,366 pairs. Which is overwhelming. Griff and his team wanted to cluster the projects so to reduce the number of pairwise combinations. A poc version of SimScore was used to cluster the projects. Unfortunately, due to time constraints our output was not used...Griff's team did the clustering manually. However it was a great learning experience for us. We added ID # and author to idea records. Also developed an advanced feature--Pairwise Similarity Matrix. This feature would be ideal for the Pairwise application. When SimScore API is ready for use, we will re-connect.
