An R&D DAO and research-led venture ecosystem supporting collaboration software startups in web3. 🤝
RnDAO is an innovation DAO, with a mission to empower humane collaboration.
We deliver research and build collaboration technology ventures such as organizational tools, community tools, DAO operations and governance tools.
Concretely, we focus on:
Public Goods Research: identifying shared challenges in the ecosystem and bringing together cross-disciplinary teams to produce in-depth public goods research. Our work includes ecosystem development methodologies ( fund deployment through grants and combined methods), governance, operations, identity and reputation, and community.
Venture Building: applying the learnings to incubate and build research-informed tools, and offering an “innovation space” (community as a service, team coaching, strategy facilitation, networks and partnerships) for early stage tooling projects.
Our current ventures include:
Community Education: sharing our research, recording informative interviews with public goods innovators and projects, and running educational webinars and X (Twitter) spaces to support venture builders.

And we’re just getting stronger.
We have bootstrapped our way to where we are, all funds go towards:
RnDAO is a swarm focused on the future of work.
The Ethereum ecosystem has developed very significant infrastructure, and now we can begin to focus on developing impactful applications.
But how? When a builder has identified the right problem, many lack the research skills to dive deep and the supporting community to pull them out of theoretical weeds. No wonder 75% of hackathon winners abandon their projects and 90% of accelerated startups fail.
RnDAO’s Swarm model finds, funds, and fosters projects that focus on collaboration tech. This work will seed a collaboration-tech product ecosystem that:
We've cultivated an expert community focused on collaboration challenges, from Oxford to INSEAD, Google, BCG, Aragon, Gitcoin, Polygon and beyond. We connect those passionate about reinventing collaboration with those knowledgeable about the intricacies.
"Improving human collaboration is perhaps the highest leverage activity we can undertake; it has a systemic impact on the major challenges we have as a species." - Daniel Ospina
