Regen Sonic Lab is a cultural and educational project that explores the intersection of collective music-making, local cultural practices, and Web3 tools.
Every week, artists and musicians gather to create, listen, and collaborate in a music workshop. Every two weeks, a public event is held in an open venue to welcome new participants and share the collective energy of music in motion.
Using the Celo ecosystem, RegenSonic Lab documents its process with POAPs (Proof of Attendance), sound NFTs, poetic reflections, and a living digital archive.
The project shares tangible cultural deliverables — not just as products, but as fragments of lived memory, vibration, and community.
Regen Sonic Lab is a regenerative cultural project that bridges sound, community, and blockchain to foster meaningful Web3 adoption.
Through weekly workshops and biweekly public events, we create inclusive spaces where local artists and audiences engage with decentralized tools — learning by doing, listening, and co-creating.
We document each encounter through sound NFTs, POAPs, and open-source publications, building a living archive of presence and creativity on the Celo blockchain.
Our mission is to amplify the Celo ecosystem by demonstrating how culture can drive adoption: encouraging artists, audiences, and local businesses to use Celo for payments, collaborations, and creative economies.
By grounding Web3 in the rhythm of everyday life — music, art, relationships — we regenerate trust, activate local networks, and imagine new ways of valuing cultural production in a decentralized future.
Despite the growing accessibility of Web3 tools, there is still a significant gap between blockchain innovation and local cultural communities. In our region, most artists, independent collectives, and cultural workers have little to no access to education or practical experience with Web3 ecosystems — especially in their own language, rhythm, and context.
This disconnect results in lost opportunities for autonomy, visibility, funding, and creative expression.
At the same time, local commerce remains largely unaware or unprepared to accept cryptocurrency as payment, even though many of these businesses operate near cultural spaces and communities that could benefit from financial inclusion.
Regen Sonic Lab offers a cultural and technological solution rooted in direct experience, collective listening, and shared creation. Through weekly workshops and biweekly public events, Regém becomes a living lab for Web3 education and experimentation, designed for artists, community members, and local cultural spaces.
Each session generates POAPs (proof of emotional presence) and sound NFTs that document the creative and communal processes, building a verifiable cultural trail on-chain. These digital artifacts educate participants and establish on-chain cultural reputation within the Celo network.
The public events also serve as onboarding spaces — welcoming new participants and inviting local businesses to explore accepting Celo as payment for cultural services, products, or artistic collaborations. This builds a bridge between blockchain and everyday life, fostering organic, inclusive, and regenerative adoption of Web3 technologies.
