ReFi Badges is a mobile-first mini-app that turns pro-climate habits (walking, cycling, recycling, volunteering) into weekly visual badges. Users set a goal (e.g., 3/7), check off their days, and when they hit the target, they unlock a shareable badge (image).
V1 (MVP): fully off-chain to ship fast (web app + image generation + public page/gallery).
V2: badges become NFT souvenirs on Celo for proof of progress, reputation, and interoperability.

Building and maintaining pro-climate habits is hard: benefits feel distant, motivation fades, and proof of action is rarely trackable or shareable.
Existing tools are fitness-centric, heavy, not social, and lack verifiable progress.
A super-simple app: define one habit with a weekly target, tick your days, unlock a badge when you succeed, then share your public gallery.
V1: responsive web app (Next.js), email sign-in, server-side image generation, public pages /u/{handle} and /badge/{id}.
V2 (Celo): mint a weekly NFT badge (low fees, mobile-friendly), plus an optional monthly streak badge.
Actions become verifiable on-chain and reusable across apps and rewards.
Phase 1 (MVP): free, open-source app funded by grants (Celo Proof of Ship) and community contributions. Phase 2: light, impact-aligned revenue → Pro/Groups features (custom badges, analytics, public group pages), climate-friendly sponsorships/CSR, small fee on green event tickets or partner rewards, a rewards marketplace (local vouchers/discounts). No token planned; utility and simplicity first.
