ReFi Amazon: Education and Action for Regeneration
ReFi Amazonas is an initiative that combines education, technology and environmental action to promote the regeneration of the Amazon rainforest and its communities. Through talks in schools, we seek to raise awareness among children and young people about the importance of the Amazon, its culture, ancestral knowledge and the adoption of Web3 technologies for environmental and social regeneration.
Our work is not limited to theoretical education: we carry out activities such as garbage collection and cleaning of rivers and flood zones, involving the community in the active protection of their environment. In addition, we organize innovative events where attendees can learn about regenerative finance, blockchain and technological tools through immersive experiences, such as the use of augmented reality glasses.
A fortnight ago, we held an event where we educated the community about ReFi and its potential to transform the economy and the environment. With the support of this Gitcoin round, we can expand our impact, reach more schools and communities, and continue to integrate technology as an engine for positive change in the Amazon region.

🌍 Climate Change: An Urgent Problem to Address
Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time, with devastating effects on ecosystems, communities and biodiversity. The Amazon, the planet's green lung, is at critical risk due to deforestation, pollution and changing weather patterns, affecting not only its inhabitants, but the entire planet.
One of the main problems in the fight against climate change is the lack of connection and coordination between people, communities and projects that seek to generate positive impact.
This is why we are building a platform that connects people with similar interests, facilitating collaboration on regeneration initiatives, environmental education and the adoption of Web3 technologies to finance sustainable solutions.
The Amazon and other vulnerable regions need immediate action and innovative strategies to curb the climate crisis. We believe that the combination of community, technology and education can accelerate change and generate real impact.
With this project, we seek to empower more people to take action, learn and actively participate in the regeneration of the planet.

To address the climate crisis and the degradation of the Amazon, we implemented a comprehensive strategy based on education, environmental regeneration and Web3 technology.

📚 We organize talks and workshops in schools and universities, where we teach about sustainability, regenerative finance and the importance of indigenous ancestral knowledge.
🚀 We develop interactive and immersive experiences with augmented reality, bringing Web3 closer to communities so they understand how this technology drives climate solutions.
🎤 We run educational events and campaigns that promote awareness of the environmental crisis and solutions based on regeneration and decentralized finance.
