PicoPrize is a learn-to-earn platform built on Celo that gamifies education through micro-lessons and staking. Users stake cUSD on lesson outcomes, complete bite-sized educational content, and earn rewards for correct answers. The platform also enables content creators to publish lessons and earn from engagement.

We are on a mission to democratize education by financially rewarding learning. PicoPrize transforms passive content consumption into active, incentivized knowledge acquisition, empowering learners and creators worldwide through blockchain technology.

Traditional education lacks financial incentives for learners, leading to low engagement and completion rates. In emerging markets, access to quality educational content is limited, and there's no mechanism to reward knowledge acquisition. Additionally, content creators struggle to monetize educational materials directly.

PicoPrize solves this by combining microlearning with DeFi staking mechanics on Celo. Learners stake cUSD on lesson quizzes—if they answer correctly, they earn rewards from the prize pool. Creators publish lessons and earn a share of stakes. The platform uses Celo's low-fee infrastructure and MiniPay wallet integration to make it accessible to users in emerging markets with mobile-first experiences.

PicoPrize operates on a fee-based model. We take a small percentage (5-10%) from each prize pool when stakes are distributed to winners. Additionally, lesson creators pay a listing fee to publish content, and we offer premium features for power users. Revenue scales with platform activity and user engagement.
