PGF Ethereum México Project Description

Ethereum Mexico is a driving force for Ethereum growth in Mexico, educating individuals on blockchain technology and promoting Ethereum values. Serving as a link between the Ethereum community, the Ethereum Foundation, and Mexico's local communities.

To ensure the impressive growth we’ve seen in the community is sustained and driven by what’s been impactful, we’ve created PGF Ethereum Mexico: a working group experimenting with local implementations of Public Goods Funding Methods. At PGF Ethereum Mexico we are running our first Public Goods Funding Round with our custom easyRetroPGFxMACI build which incorportates Hypercerts. Our goal to participate in this round is uniquely to fund the development work that has been in progress to incorporate Hypercerts into our build and to teach the projects the utility of the Hypercert they will receive. Funding will not be used for any other purpose.

Mission

• PGF Ethereum Mexico has the goal to democratize access to funding for Mexican projects creating a verifiable impact to its Mexican members. Our goal by running and experimenting with different mechanisms is to educate community members in the existing Public Goods Funding stack, so they can leverage it in their own communities in the future.
