Creators:

This project is a collaboration between NZ377 and Maverik Creative Agency, who together formed White Cloud Studios to bring NodeLand to life. NZ377 offers deep knowledge of the SEI Network’s history, while Maverik Creative Agency, one of Georgia's leading digital creative agencies, provides top-tier content animation & production expertise. With the SEI grant, we aim to create a visually stunning and impactful series that brings the SEI Network’s story to life.

Project Description:

What the heck is NodeLand?
(And no, I’m not talking about the village in Norway!)

NodeLand is an animated series set in a fictional universe where blockchain technology intersects with Norse mythology. In this realm, the NODEGODS—mysterious crypto deities—oversee decentralized resources, embodying both chaos and order. This SEI Network lore-based saga, depicted through psychedelic surrealism and ancient Nordic art, explores the building and evolution of the SEI network through the struggles, betrayals, and triumphs of its characters.

The Storyline:

"There was a time when the kingdom’s rulers, known as the NODEGODS, began decentralizing resources and devising innovative methods to acquire them."

The first season of NodeLand will consist of 5 episodes, where the story unfolds in the fictional world of NodeLand, ruled by the NODEGODS.

Episode 1: NodeLand - Introduction to the World
Plot:
In the world of NodeLand, the NODEGODS establish new industrial centers where ongoing experiments are harnessing and uncovering vital resources. As each center is built, new settlers arrive eager to work. One of the new industrial centers is Redstone City.

Episode 2: From Chaos to Clarity - When the Rulers Forget, the City People Begin to Organize Themselves!
Plot:
Misunderstanding and chaos spread in NodeLand, leading to clashes among the workers. Amid the turmoil, they unexpectedly discover that slow-moving creatures are rapidly and precisely building something new. Will there be light?

Episode 3: One of the NODEGODS is a “NotGod”!
Plot:
The unsettling noises from the Redstone City forge reach the NODEGODS; there's a smell of betrayal... The case is brought before “NodeCourt,” but in NodeLand, justice is notoriously slow. Meanwhile, Redstone City continues to function independently.

Episode 4: Follow the Light They Lead to Something
Plot:
Crime and relentless labor have become the norm. As many residents flee—some with stolen resources, others empty-handed. But those who remain in the city gather in the central square. A shadowy group has a new plan.

Episode 5: The NotGOD Verdict
Plot:
The trial of the NodeGods finally takes place in NodeCourt, where the wise but slow-moving judges uncover the truth. Despite the revelation, the people demand justice.

Goal of the Project:

This project aims to elevate the SEI Network by creating a high-quality animated series that vividly portrays its unique lore and concepts. By producing top-tier animation, we aim to expand SEI’s presence beyond the blockchain community and generate broader interest and engagement. This initiative will enhance SEI’s visibility and appeal, drawing attention from a wider audience and contributing to its growth and recognition in the digital space.
