Problem Description:
The decentralized science and blockchain technology landscape lacks a comprehensive platform that integrates research and development with a focus on the interchain and crafting proofs. Existing solutions cannot often seamlessly onboard users to Ethereum and provide a no-code operating system for launching tokens, creating DAOs, and building DeFi projects. Additionally, there is a need to incentivize community participation, promote public goods, and assess on-chain and off-chain impacts effectively.

Proposal:
NERD DAO is a research and development lab powered by DeSciWorld & ethereansOS, a post-work collective exploring the interchain and crafting proofs. DeSciWorld serves as the global hub for decentralized science, building the on-chain knowledge layer with Proof of Knowledge (PoK). EthereansOS Protocol complements this by offering an onboarding solution to Ethereum, enabling users to launch tokens, create DAOs, and build DeFi projects with a simple, no-code operating system. Additionally, NERD DAO focuses on building in Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) L2s like Arbitrum, dedicated to decentralization, security & growth. Identity and creating web3 usernames of ENS domains are also key components of our proposals, integrating the Hypercerts foundation into open-source protocols for funding and rewarding positive impact. The initiative also includes the development of the Ethereum Attestation Service (EAS), an open-source public good for making attestations on-chain or off-chain, enhancing trust online. Furthermore, the Token engineering commons is being developed to advance the field of token engineering and support web3 public goods.
