NeonPayments is a Wallet and a Miniapp for MiniPay that bridges traditional fiat and blockchain payments. It enables sending, receiving, and swapping digital assets, top-ups via Mercado Pago, cross-chain token swaps, and identity verification. Built for the Mexican market with bilingual support, it provides a single interface for fiat and micropayments crypto transactions x402 standard.

We are on a mission to democratize digital payments in Latin America by removing barriers between fiat and crypto, enabling fast, low-cost, and accessible financial services for everyone, regardless of their technical knowledge or banking status.

Many people in Latin America, especially Mexico, face barriers to digital payments: high fees, slow transfers, limited access to banking, and complexity when using crypto. Existing solutions are fragmented—traditional payment apps don’t support crypto, and crypto wallets don’t integrate with local fiat rails like Mercado Pago. This forces users to manage multiple apps and limits financial inclusion.

We solve this by building a unified payment platform that connects Mercado Pago (fiat) with MiniPay
(USDC, USDT, cUSD) on Celo. Users can:

The platform uses EIP-3009 for secure payment authorization and supports both mobile (MiniPay) and web (Privy) wallets, making digital payments accessible to everyone.
