The Clinic -- lex.clinic -- is an OG fork of LexDAO that is designed to:
become a 501(c)3 US tax deductible not-for-profit charity (not currently a 501(c)3); that
offers high impact education for prosocial non-lawyers and legal engineering curious law students; by
using developer-standards ethics to teach against Web3 incompatible law association ethics, namely:
and works with some of the best law firms in the business that offer pro bono services to our most prosocial Patrons.

The Clinic is now transitioning from its trial alpha stage to its beta stage. Our alpha stage was purposefully minimum so that we could learn before getting too deeply into unknown strategies. One of our lessons running the alpha stage is that law student Patrons must prioritize their grades, which might leave entrepreneur Patrons high and dry. For this and other reasons, we are now using the Ixian.tech law firm to manage the Clinic.
Law is a public good in practice not just theory.
Law is a public good but it's far too expensive and difficult to manage, especially in Web3.
Use FOSS ethics to create a global clinic where Patrons can help each other. Combine this with an apprenticeship model.
