Introduction to Jellyverse

Jellyverse is a comprehensive ecosystem built on the Sei Network, featuring a decentralized exchange (DEX), a staking protocol, and a synthetics protocol within the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector. Governed by its community through a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), Jellyverse is committed to advancing the evolution of DeFi, often referred to as DeFi 3.0. This forward-thinking vision aims to create a sustainable, yield-driven ecosystem where users can interact with various protocols, each offering a robust use case and integrating real-world assets.

Expanding the Jellyverse Airdrop Experience

As part of this Gitcoin proposal, Jellyverse plans to elevate its airdrop concept by introducing a puzzle mechanic that narrates the story of Sei and its projects. This element not only shares the journey of Sei with the world but is also designed to captivate users and enhance their engagement with the airdrop. This major campaign aims to attract new users to both the Sei and Jellyverse ecosystems by offering a gamified experience that combines NFTs with JLY token rewards.

At the core of this campaign is an interactive "Saga Map" that users can explore. In addition to conventional tasks like providing liquidity, users will have the opportunity to engage in additional activities that unlock puzzle pieces for a series of puzzles titled "Sei Lore." These puzzles will spotlight various projects, including NFT initiatives and other DeFi protocols, and will feature a dedicated Sei puzzle with tasks and a storyline centered on the history of the Sei Network. All Sei projects are encouraged to participate, contributing to a unique collection that chronicles Sei's journey from inception to the present. By completing these puzzle-related tasks, users will unlock puzzle pieces, each representing an NFT, which will be distributed during the regular payout cycles of the airdrop.

To give you a better understanding of the Saga Map’s design, we’ve included an early concept. The puzzle concept is currently under development and will be shared at a later stage.

Goals of the Campaign

• Engage Users: Create an immersive experience within the Jellyverse Airdrop campaign, introducing both new and seasoned users to the Sei ecosystem through an achievement-based, puzzle-solving approach.
• Educate: Provide valuable insights and knowledge about the Sei ecosystem while making the process of unlocking puzzle pieces enjoyable.
• On-Chain Tasks: Allow users to unlock puzzle pieces by completing on-chain tasks, such as holding specific NFTs, maintaining a minimum balance of SEI, or providing liquidity to designated pools.
• NFT Distribution: Distribute Puzzle Piece NFTs to users once they’ve successfully unlocked them.
• Broaden Reach: Amplify the story of the Airdrop beyond the Sei bubble by engaging with small to mid-tier Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) on Twitter and YouTube.
