HackerRep is a privacy-first reputation protocol for developers. It uses zero-knowledge proofs and Self Protocol’s onchain SDK deployed on Celo mainnet to create verifiable, sybil-resistant, and culturally intelligent identities. Developers can prove academic and professional credentials (via zkPDF) and demographics (via Aadhaar/Passport) without revealing sensitive data. Reputation is tied to ENS names and designed to be monetizable, making trust a tradable on-chain primitive.
✅ Deployed and verified on Celo Mainnet
✅ Live demo & APIs built with Next.js + Supabase backend
✅ 9 Self Protocol verified users tested end-to-end
✅ Fully functional voting mechanics with demographic-aware power calculations

Developer reputation today is fragmented, non-verifiable, and often biased:
GitHub stars or LinkedIn profiles don’t prove skills.
Sharing personal documents compromises privacy.
No mechanism ensures cultural inclusion, mentorship, or sybil resistance.
Developers lack ways to monetize verified reputation.
HackerRep introduces a ZK-powered, Celo-native reputation system:
Self Protocol integration: Custom contract HackerRepSelfVerification.sol (deployed at 0xF54C11EbC39905dd88496E098CDEeC565F79a696) extracts nationality, age, and gender via ZK proofs.
zkPDF academic verification: Prove degrees/certificates privately.
Cultural intelligence engine: Nationality ensures local ecosystem authenticity, age-based seniority fosters mentorship, cross-gender voting 2× boosts inclusion.
ENS-first identity: Reputation tied to portable, human-readable ENS names.
Monetization layer (roadmap): Paid boosted voting, staking, and credential marketplace.
User able to give Paid Boosted Upvotes to suppport their fellow devs
