We're Green Sofa (why?), also as GreenPill Taiwan, founded on 2023-09-13.

Our Mission
We aim to bring more people into regenerative web3 world, aligning with vision of Green Pill Network (GreenPill) and Formosa Art Bank DAO (FAB DAO).

FAB DAO focuses on minting and selling non-profit NFT, creating artist and collector communities, building blockchain experiences and designing blockchain education for the public.

With goodness and eternity as our starting point, we are building a connected Web3 metaverse. We will apply the good features of blockchain to take the real actions in the real world.

Problem Statement for GreenSofa

1. Limited Awareness and Understanding of Public Goods in Taiwan:

• Many individuals and communities in Taiwan lack awareness and understanding of the concept of public goods and their importance in the digital and physical realms.
• Solution: GreenSofa aims to educate and engage the Taiwanese community on the value and significance of public goods through workshops, seminars, and digital content.

2. Lack of Localized Support for Public Goods Projects:

• There is a scarcity of support and funding for public goods projects that are specifically tailored to the needs and challenges of the local Taiwanese community.
• Solution: By organizing Quadratic Funding (QF) rounds and other funding mechanisms, GreenSofa provides financial support and resources to local public goods projects, fostering innovation and community-driven solutions.

3. Fragmented Web3 Community in Taiwan:

• The Web3 community in Taiwan is fragmented, with limited collaboration and communication between different groups and individuals.
• Solution: GreenSofa acts as a unifying platform, bringing together various Web3 enthusiasts, developers, and stakeholders. It facilitates collaboration and knowledge-sharing through regular meetings, online forums, and community events.

4. Insufficient Infrastructure and Tools for Public Goods Projects:

• Many local projects lack the necessary infrastructure and tools to effectively develop and sustain public goods initiatives.
• Solution: GreenSofa, in alignment with the GreenPill mission, provides access to essential Web3 tools and resources, such as Quadratic Voting (QV), Gitcoin Grants Stack, and Hypercerts, empowering projects to thrive.

5. Need for Enhanced Community Engagement and Participation:

• Engaging the broader community in public goods initiatives remains a challenge, with limited participation and support from the public.
• Solution: GreenSofa focuses on enhancing community engagement by creating interactive and inclusive platforms for participation. This includes NFT projects, voting mechanisms for funding distribution, and regular updates and discussions on ongoing initiatives.

By addressing these problems, GreenSofa aims to build a robust ecosystem that supports the growth and sustainability of public goods projects in Taiwan, ultimately contributing to the global Web3 community.
