QF was introduced in a paper published in 2018 by Vitalik Buterin, Zoe Hitzig, and Glen Weyl.

Gitcoin Grants Stack is the first-ever decentralized, fully-customizable, smart contract-enabled solution that connects grants program managers, project owners and donors to manage and participate in community-powered (Quadratic Funding) grants programs. Grants Stack is built with Gitcoin’s open-source funding allocation protocol Allo Protocol.

Gitcoin Passport is a Sybil resistance and privacy-preserving identity management tool that enables individuals and communities to authentically and securely interact through sovereign data control and privacy-preserving identity validation. Passport makes it easy to prove one’s humanity and build online reputation, all in one place. Gitcoin Passport is built with Gitcoin’s open-source sybil resistance protocol Passport Protocol.
