Ghiblify is an AI-powered platform that transforms ordinary photos into enchanting Studio Ghibli–style artwork, offering users a seamless experience with Web3 payments, batch processing, real-time status updates, and a polished dark/light mode interface.
Our mission is to democratize the magic of Studio Ghibli’s art style by combining cutting-edge AI with a fan-first, accessible design ethos. We aim to make AI art not only delightful and personal, but also socially rewarding—blending creativity, community, and crypto into one enchanted experience.
Whilst users may have access to ghibli creation tools, there is scope to enhance the democratisation of storytelling capacity that tools such as wan2.2 and intinitetalk models to experiment with and break creative barriers, norms and traditions. Alongside deep integration with onchain social primitives, networks and functions/utilities.
Most AI art tools are either too technical, lacking in accessibility, or feel generic without a strong creative identity. At the same time, fans of Studio Ghibli often wish to see themselves or their world captured in that whimsical, hand-painted style but lack the tools or skills to create it.
Ghiblify solves this by making high-quality Ghibli-inspired transformations available instantly through a simple web interface, with multiple payment options and social sharing built-in. The Roadmap includes the ability for users to pay with stablecoins or other tokens, and transform an individual photo into a ghibli animation with lip sync, motion, as well as memetic effects.
Built with a Next.js + Chakra UI frontend and a FastAPI backend, Ghiblify integrates AI pipelines like ComfyUI and Replicate for high-quality image generation, Redis for credit/session management, and ImgBB for hosting. Users can pay with Stripe, Base Pay, CELO, or the native $GHIBLIFY token (with discounts), while referral rewards are powered by Divvi integration on Celo and Base. This full-stack design makes whimsical transformations fast, reliable, and accessible to both Web2 and Web3 users.
