GeneFlow is a specialized DeSci agent designed to pilot autonomous bio-data monetization on the Celo network. Operating as a lean, economic spin-off from our broader R&D initiatives, GeneFlow focuses specifically on utilizing stablecoin incentives to solve data scarcity in rare disease research.
GeneFlow is a specialized DeSci agent and a dedicated economic spin-off from the OrdiGen ecosystem, designed to pilot autonomous bio-data monetization on Celo. Our mission is to bridge the gap between genomic data owners and researchers by leveraging Celo’s mobile-first infrastructure and stablecoin flows. By utilizing AI-driven validation and the x402 payment protocol, GeneFlow transforms individual biological insights into a liquid, rewarded asset class, accelerating rare disease research through transparent and instant financial incentives.
GeneFlow is an autonomous AI agent developed specifically for the Celo 'Build Agents for the Real World' hackathon. It serves as a dedicated economic layer for the secure exchange of biological data.
While our primary work continues under the OrdiGen umbrella, GeneFlow is launched as a standalone pilot to explore Celo’s unique capabilities in mobile-first payments and agentic economic agency. The agent manages the entire lifecycle of a data transaction—from AI-driven validation and anonymization to instant reward distribution—ensuring that contributors are fairly compensated for their genomic insights in real-time.
GeneFlow solves this by acting as a 'Special Purpose Economic Agent' on Celo. It bridges the gap between bio-data owners and researchers through:
Autonomous Escrow (x402): Using the Thirdweb x402 protocol, the agent ensures that data is only unlocked once a cUSD payment is secured, acting as a neutral mediator.
Agentic Identity (ERC-8004): GeneFlow operates with its own on-chain identity and wallet, allowing it to manage funds and execute transactions without human intervention.
Targeted Utility: By focusing exclusively on the data-reward loop, GeneFlow provides a high-velocity testing ground for stablecoin flows in life sciences.
Privacy-First AI: The agent utilizes AI to verify that uploaded data is research-ready and properly anonymized before facilitating any exchange.
GeneFlow utilizes a transaction-fee model. A small percentage of each successful data purchase is retained by the agent to fund its own 'gas' fees and operational costs, making it a self-sustaining economic entity on the Celo blockchain.
