I’ve actively contributed to open-source, building tools that simplify fintech, blockchain, and developer workflows. I focus on making software more accessible while fostering a strong developer community through mentorship and education.
I actively lead and mentor developers through:
Dev Team Lead – Borderless Tech Club, UNN: Driving tech initiatives, and mentoring upcoming developers. Borderless Tech Club is a student-led and student-focused initiative at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, dedicated to onboarding the next generation of individuals into areas like software development, content creation/marketing, design, and other interesting fields in the web3 and web2 space. We are currently organizing "Cipher Sessions" here at UNN—an initiative designed to onboard individuals into Web3 and equip them with essential and relevant skills in the space, including smart contract development, UI/UX design, content creation, and more. I serve as the Solidity and smart contract development tutor for this program. Community Page
Technical Lead – GDG UNN: Coordinating hackathons, workshops, and technical events that bridge students and professional developers. Google Developer Groups (GDG) UNN is a community backed by Google, focused on empowering developers with knowledge and resources to build impactful tech solutions. GDG UNN serves as a hub for developers to connect, learn, and grow in their careers while staying updated on the latest trends in technology. Community Page
Beyond writing code, I share insights through articles covering software development, fintech, and blockchain. Some of my published work:
|| and ?? in JavaScript – A comparison of JavaScript’s OR (||) and Nullish Coalescing (??) operators and when to use each. These writings help onboard developers into the open-source and blockchain space, breaking down complex ideas into practical insights.
I’m committed to growing the open-source and Web3 ecosystem through education, collaboration, and hands-on contributions. Support from this grant will enable me to sustain these projects, create more learning opportunities, and push forward the adoption of open technologies.
