DeSci Tokyo is a voluntary organization that aims to push the boundaries of human knowledge with decentralized science as a DeSci incubator in Japan. In 2023, we wrote hosted three social meetups and wrote multiple articles including an academic paper.

We organized one of the largest DeSci conference in the world and raising over $ 50K by crowdfunding and sponsorships.

In 2024, we will focus on both incubating and practicing DeSci.

We are going to host a large DeSci conference collaborating with Funding the Commons in Tokyo. We also plan to try doing a funding experiment in Japan. We have been building a QF funding system for public goods including open science projects.
