DeSci LATAM is a public good with the mission to promote the advancement of science in Latin America, by building a bridge between the scientific community and the blockchain ecosystem.

Problems that we would like to address:

• Disconnect between the scientific community and DeSci.
• Lack of visibility and funding for scientific projects.
• Language barriers to accessing information in Spanish and Portuguese.

Solutions we propose:

• Providing information in Spanish and Portuguese to overcome language barriers.
• Events and conferences to promote the visibility of scientific projects and the DeSci ecosystem.
• Work in collaboration with universities and research centers.
• Connect the scientific community with funding and Web3 tools.
• Highlight issues in Latin American science and match them with DeSci solutions.
