Advancing Public Goods Education & Community Growth in African Universities.
I’m Davis Brains, a content strategist, ReFi/DeFi contributor, and community manager dedicated to expanding awareness of public goods in African universities.
My work focuses on crafting engaging educational content and designing onboarding strategies for students who are new to the public goods ecosystem.
Key Accomplishments & Approach:
Educational Content Creation:
I’ve produced a range of content for projects like borderless dev, and Octant that simplifies the intricacies of public goods.
In collaboration with @EnergySalvation, we hosted the Building Wealth in Web3 1.0 event and onboarded quite a number of newbies into the space and provided them with additional educational resources they could use to get started.
I also worked behind the scenes with the content writers department of borderless to create count up posts for borderless 3.0.

Future Impact with Funding
With this funding, I will expand my content creation to further elevate the awareness of public goods in African universities. My plan includes:
Publishing More Educational Materials: Creating additional guides, videos, and digital resources under the Borderless umbrella and in the public goods space.
Collaboration with Tech Clubs: Co-hosting onboarding Twitter Spaces and live events with technology clubs to bring more students into the conversation and demystify the public goods ecosystem.
By funding this project, you’re supporting a scalable, community-driven model that not only educates but also equips students with clear, actionable pathways into the public goods movement.
