DappLearning Rewards is an integrated suite of community incentive tools developed by the DappLearning community, guided by the principles of an “Open Source University.” Comprising tools such as ZK Redpacket, Distribute, Airdrop, and Wish List, this project is designed to attract and empower developers, researchers, and professionals to share Web3 knowledge and contribute to building public goods. Our aim is to drive the growth of the Web3 ecosystem while fostering financial inclusion, educational innovation, and positive social impact.
Launched on Optimism, ZK Redpacket artfully combines the traditional Chinese red envelope culture with cutting-edge blockchain technology to provide secure and private payments. Since 2024, our community has rewarded over 30 outstanding contributors through this tool, inspiring ongoing commitment to the Open Source University vision. Leveraging zk-SNARKs, ZK Redpacket enables users to create fixed or randomized red envelopes, digitizing the age-old custom of sharing goodwill. More than a mere transaction, it offers a culturally enriching, gamified experience that enhances secure payments and interactive engagement.
Our Wish List tool empowers users to propose topics they’re interested in and back them with donations. Listeners can submit their “wishes,” outlining desired themes while having funds held securely in a smart contract. Within the set timeframe, anyone can contribute additional support; once a contributor delivers content on the requested topic, the pooled funds are transferred directly to them. This innovative mechanism not only incentivizes high-quality content creation but also fosters a vibrant cycle of knowledge sharing within the community.
