Crypto Altruists is a content and education platform dedicated to showing the world the good of Web3. Since launching in June 2021, we've grown into a trusted voice for impact-driven blockchain storytelling, with a strong focus on how Ethereum and the broader Web3 ecosystem can power social and environmental change.
Through over 275+ podcast episodes, 300+ articles and infographics, and curated series like Trailblazers of Octant and Impact on Optimism, we spotlight the builders, projects, and communities using blockchain to fund public goods, advance climate action, and reimagine philanthropy. Our content has reached hundreds of thousands of people across 125+ countries, and we've partnered with aligned initiatives such as Gitcoin, Octant, Glo Dollar, Endaoment, and Web3forGood to strengthen collaboration across the public goods ecosystem.
What sets us apart is our focus on the impact economy. While many content creators speak to developers or crypto-native audiences, we design our work for nonprofits, educators, and grassroots changemakers who often have little prior exposure to Web3. We believe this audience is a vital growth lever for adoption, and that making blockchain legible and inspiring to mission-driven leaders is one of the most important things we can do for the ecosystem.
Our current initiatives include our Web3 Impact Toolkit, an open-access learning platform designed to onboard the next generation of changemakers into Web3's infinite garden, and the Ethereum for Good Impact Hub, a dedicated home for impact-aligned Ethereum content.
Our mission is to show the world the good of Web3 and onboard the impact economy into blockchain. We believe that when nonprofits, educators, and grassroots builders understand how tools like Ethereum can power transparent funding, decentralized governance, and global coordination, entirely new possibilities for social and environmental impact emerge. Through consistent, values-driven content and open-access education, we work to shift the narrative from speculation to coordination, lower barriers to adoption, and help mission-driven leaders harness emerging technology for lasting, meaningful change. We exist to grow the infinite garden by bringing new voices, ideas, and communities into the ecosystem.
Despite its potential to transform philanthropy, governance, and global coordination, Web3 remains largely inaccessible to the people who could benefit from it most. Nonprofits, educators, and grassroots changemakers often lack the resources, guidance, and trusted entry points needed to explore blockchain tools confidently. At the same time, the dominant narrative around crypto continues to center on speculation and scams, creating a stigma that discourages mission-driven leaders from engaging. This gap means that a multi-trillion dollar impact economy, one that touches hundreds of millions of lives worldwide, remains largely disconnected from the tools and infrastructure that could help it scale.
Crypto Altruists bridges the gap between Web3 and the impact economy through trusted, accessible content and education. We produce podcasts, articles, infographics, and video explainers that translate complex blockchain concepts into clear, actionable insights for nonprofits and changemakers. Our Ethereum for Good Impact Hub curates impact-aligned content in one place, while our Web3 Impact Toolkit offers structured learning modules, ELI5 videos, case studies, and a resource library designed for organizations with little prior crypto knowledge. By combining storytelling with hands-on education, we give mission-driven leaders the confidence and tools to explore Web3 responsibly and effectively.
We operate as an open-access public good, sustaining our work through a combination of grants, dedicated podcast series partnerships with Web3 impact projects, toolkit sponsorships, and hands-on consulting that helps nonprofits navigate and adopt Web3 tools responsibly.
