A canonical Layer-1 protocol architecture that establishes time itself as the ultimate cryptographic authority. It introduces the Time-Absence State Machine (TASM) —a system where value and finality are derived not from presence or activity, but from verifiable absence and silence.
To build the canonical economic and cryptographic framework where "absence of evidence is evidence of absence." We aim to provide the infrastructure for a new asset class—"Impossibility Assets" —and enable truly decentralized arbitration that is immune to bribery, coercion, and server uptime requirements.
Current blockchain systems rely on active voting, frequent signatures, or "liveness" to maintain security. This creates several critical vulnerabilities:
The Irrevocable Silence Commitment (ISC) .
We invert the security model. Instead of proving you did something, you prove you did nothing for a specific time window.
*Mechanism: Users commit to an intent via SHA-256. If they remain silent (do not counter-sign) until a deadline, the intent becomes law.
Economic Security: Attempting to break silence requires collateral, which is programmatically burned (slashed) if an action is detected during the forbidden window.
Implementation: A Rust-based kernel (PoC complete) and Substrate pallet.
The "Protocol Sink" Model (Infrastructure Layer)
