Chainsaw is a Chrome extension that adds a quick-access panel to supported blockchain explorers (like Etherscan or BaseScan), enabling users to perform routine Web3 wallet actions with one click. It simplifies interaction with blockchains by allowing predefined transaction templates and custom configurations for different networks.

Chainsaw’s mission is to streamline everyday interactions with blockchains by making common wallet actions fast, safe, and accessible directly from explorer pages. With grant support, we aim to expand network support, improve UX, and open-source the tool for community contribution and adoption.

Many Web3 users frequently repeat the same actions on blockchain explorers—such as sending specific contract calls, claiming rewards, or interacting with dApps—manually through MetaMask or other wallets. This process is slow, error-prone, and unfriendly for non-technical users.

Chainsaw injects a lightweight, customizable interface directly onto explorer pages, enabling users to connect their wallet and execute predefined transactions instantly. It saves time, reduces errors, and improves the Web3 user experience for both power users and newcomers.
