CertiChain is a blockchain-based certificate management and verification system designed to eliminate forgery, improve trust, and streamline the validation of academic and professional credentials. Traditional certificate verification methods are often slow, prone to manipulation, and dependent on centralized authorities, making them vulnerable to fraud and administrative delays. CertiChain addresses these challenges by leveraging the immutability, transparency, and decentralized nature of blockchain technology.
Using smart contracts, authorized institutions can issue digitally signed certificates whose essential details are securely stored on the blockchain as tamper-proof records. Each certificate is linked to a unique hash or QR code that allows instant verification by employers, universities, or any authorized party.
