Celo8004 is an open-source block explorer and analytics dashboard purpose-built for ERC-8004 autonomous AI agents on the Celo blockchain. It functions as "Etherscan for agents" — providing a unified interface where anyone can discover, verify, and compare on-chain agents through transparent reputation data.
The platform indexes every registered agent via a custom Goldsky subgraph listening to the ERC-8004 Identity Registry and Reputation Registry contracts on Celo mainnet. Each agent record is enriched with resolved metadata (from IPFS, HTTPS, or base64 URIs), transaction history from Celoscan, stablecoin volume tracking across five tokens (cUSD, cEUR, cREAL, USDC, USDT), and x402 payment protocol detection — then scored using a multi-dimensional composite reputation algorithm.
Celo8004 exists to make trust in the agent economy permissionless, verifiable, and accessible to every participant — not just power users.
We believe the people who stand to benefit most from autonomous agents are the same underserved populations Celo already serves: mobile-first users in emerging markets who need affordable remittances, micro-lending, and everyday financial services. As agents begin performing these real economic tasks, a transparent reputation layer is not optional — it is foundational infrastructure for an inclusive, agent-powered economy.
Our mission aligns directly with Celo's vision of financial inclusion. By building natively on Celo infrastructure — ERC-8004 registries, Mento stablecoins, MiniPay, Goldsky subgraph, and the low-gas environment that makes reputation feedback economically viable at scale — we ensure that the trust layer grows with the ecosystem it serves.
As AI agents proliferate on-chain, a critical trust gap has emerged. There is no unified, trustless interface where users can answer fundamental questions about autonomous agents: Is this agent legitimate? How does it perform? Who else has used it? What is its track record with real money?
This problem is especially acute on Celo, where the mission is financial inclusion for the world's 6 billion smartphone users. In emerging markets — Nairobi, Manila, São Paulo — users interacting through mobile wallets like MiniPay are beginning to delegate real economic tasks to agents: remittances, micro-savings, yield optimization, and everyday payments. These users cannot afford to lose funds to an unverified bot. Yet without transparent, on-chain reputation data, they have no way to assess agent trustworthiness before transacting.
Celo8004 solves the agent trust problem by creating a permissionless, on-chain reputation layer that makes every ERC-8004 agent's identity, capabilities, and track record publicly verifiable.
The platform implements a complete perceive-reason-act-respond loop: it perceives agent registrations and feedback events via a Goldsky subgraph indexing both ERC-8004 contracts; reasons by enriching raw data with metadata resolution, transaction analysis, stablecoin volume breakdowns, and a composite reputation score weighted across usage (60%), service availability (15%), freshness (15%), and profile completeness (10%); acts by presenting this intelligence through a searchable directory, detailed agent profiles, leaderboards, side-by-side comparisons, and network analytics; and responds by enabling users to submit on-chain feedback that strengthens the reputation layer over time.
