This is a fast paced 2 weeks bootcamp, to transition non-developers or Web 2.0 developers into Blockchain developers in a short, intense solidity program. The program covers topics on blockchain fundamentals, ethereum accounts and understanding Celo as a Layer 2 Scaling Solution. We also are building each an dApp and integrating it with a front-end interface.
To bootstrap Web 2 developers into Web 3 developers
So many developers would love to join the Web 3 Ecosystem as developers but the bar is too high and intimidating. The learning curve is steep and the concepts are mostly all broad but fundamental. I have to demystify and abstract several to achieve the core purpose of the bootcamp which is to build a fully integrated dApp.
This bootcamp provides an opportunity for the participants to have a first-hand experience of building a decentralized application, learn what a blockchain essentially is, and get empowered by this exposure to take that big leap into the space, specifically by building applications on Celo.
Celo is uniquely positioned, considering its recent migration, allowing us an opportunity to explore the nature of its transition and the technical implications of this transition.
