Celo Quest: Web3 Security & Awareness Mini-App is a Farcaster-based interactive quiz that promotes Celo awareness and educates users on Web3 safety.
Through gamified learning, users explore key topics like wallet protection, phishing prevention, and Celo’s carbon-negative mission — all within a Farcaster Frame.
Each completed quiz provides proof-of-knowledge and can optionally mint a “Celo Aware” on-chain badge to reward participation and track learning progress.
The goal is to blend education and engagement to grow the Celo ecosystem while strengthening users’ understanding of secure decentralized practices.

This leads to misinformation, low engagement with secure practices, and limited visibility for networks like Celo that prioritize real-world impact and inclusivity.
Celo Quest provides an accessible and fun way to learn Web3 security while discovering Celo’s values and technology.
The mini-app delivers short quizzes through Farcaster Frames — allowing users to learn directly within their social feed without leaving the app.
Each session reinforces good practices (e.g., safe wallet use, verifying sources, avoiding scams) and connects the learning experience to the Celo blockchain through optional proof-of-completion NFTs.
This approach combines social engagement, gamification, and blockchain education to increase Celo’s presence while improving overall ecosystem safety.
Our model is focused on community-driven growth and open education. The mini-app will remain free to access, supported by grants and ecosystem partnerships (Celo Foundation, Farcaster grants, and educational DAOs). We aim to expand through collaborations with Web3 educators, on-chain badge programs, and future sponsorships tied to quiz campaigns.
