Over the last two years the Carbon Counting Club has counted the carbon sequestered in our gardens by the use of natural soil amendments, on March 7th 2024 a token was launced and distributed representative of the works done and publicly shared by the Club over the last two years at the rate of 1 Carbon Counting Coin per pound of CO2 sequestered. CCC had a starting supply of 75,923. During our first month of operation of the token we established a diversified portfolio of liquidity to help support the CCC value over time from compound interest gained on accounts. Because the liquidity is diversified into other public goods projects it also helps create a broader impact. CCC impact assets earned from liquidity held to date. The sequestration of 75,923 pounds of CO2e over the last two years had a lot of unquantifiable additionality, accelorated carbon capture rates, water preservation and quality, food security, biodiversity, waste and emissions reductions.
