Borderless Tech Club, Uniport is a subset of the B<>rder/ess Dev Hub. This club was created with the aim of training, equipping and empowering young persons in the University of Port Harcourt with Web3 Education, onboarding and in-demand Tech skills.
The Club was established in 2023 and since inception, Borderless UNIPORT, has been very instrumental in the Web3 Education of the University Students. This is the foremost Tech Club in the university when it comes to Web3 onboarding. Annually, over 20 students in Uniport graduate from our cipher sessions where they learn in demand Tech and Web3 skills which includes; Data Analysis, Smart Contract Development, Solidity, Web Development, UI/IX, Cyber Security etc.
To Establish a Tech Hub within University is Port Harcourt, providing students with a physical hub for hands-on learning, collaboration, and mentorship in tech and Web3.
Enhance Blockchain and Tech Education by hosting regular workshops, hackathons, and training sessions. And by going on air weekly, with the school's radio station to onboard the occupied students who can't come to our hub.
Acquire Relevant Facilities (like Projector, Generator etc.) for onsite onboarding at the respective faculties and departments as well as public places like the school’s convocation arena.
Increase Community Engagement by expanding partnerships with local and global blockchain/Web3 communities.
Bridge the Knowledge Gap by offering structured programs in Web Development, Solidity, UI/UX design, Data Analysis,, cybersecurity, Digital Marketing and other tech-related tracks.
Foster Innovation and Startups by inspiring and supporting student-led Web3 and tech projects through mentorship and incubation.
