The Based Bridge provides an open source frontend for the native OP Stack NFT bridge contracts, allowing users to bridge back and forth their L1 NFTs to Optimistic L2s. The bridge’s impact has unlocked novel use cases, such as Time-based loans with ENS names as collateral on Base using Teller.

By enabling easy NFT migration from Ethereum L1 to Base, the bridge is actively driving new users and fostering organic adoption. Users started doing this 100% organically after we built the bridge and it demonstrates how we’ve been ability to unlock unique and fun experiences while making a tangible impact on L2 usage.
