Coordination and execution of the budget is tough for organizations. While we have plenty of tools to report and evaluate impact, the execution of the budget is still isolated from those tools, which means that organizations have to operate in separate environments.
This gap is the source of different challenges, such as a lack of clarity around budget execution and contributors receiving the funds, complex reporting (since we have different standards per player (sometimes the same project is reporting in 5 different impact frameworks)), and even more complex evaluation of budget execution by the community.
For contributors, this lack of a coordination tool between budget execution and deliverables means extra work for making sense of their contributions and impact in the general ecosystem.
So, a double front challenge on the same topic.
I only built this dapp because I found nothing similar in the Celo ecosystem.
So, the solution we offer is pretty simple:
Projects create tasks or a track of tasks; contributors can claim it, submit it, and get paid.
No complexity, full transparency, and with all Celo currencies available.
Its a public good for the Celo ecosystem, so the main idea is to get the rewards and use it to attract more communities by sharing 50% of rewards to users.
