The Context
Traditional genealogy and family history platforms are designed around Western, document-centric frameworks. They rely almost exclusively on written records—such as parish logs, town hall registers, census records, and tax slips—to chart kinship. In sub-Saharan African and global African Diaspora contexts, however, ancestral lineages were historically preserved acoustically. For generations, family records were stored not on paper, but in the breath, rhythm, cadence, and meter of oral historians, Griots, Babalawos, and family elders through traditional praise-songs (OrĂkì), drum chants, and spoken covenants.

Oral & Acoustic Integration: Treats oral recitations as first-class genealogical evidence, saving high-fidelity voice tags and praise-songs directly alongside kinship profile cards.
Hyper-Local Territoral Indexing: Allows custodians to structure their lineages according to historical ancestral Compounds and local Municipal Wards to establish exact spatial linkages.
Sovereignty & Privacy-First Security: Rejects corporate central servers. Data is saved strictly within the user’s local browser sandbox (using client-side IndexedDB databases), allowing complete ownership and private, local backup files.
Offline Mesh Server Resilience: Deploys localized, low-energy offline hardware hubs (Sovereign Village Mesh Nodes) directly into ancestral compound yards, allowing local devices to map family trees collaboratively with zero web access.
