We organized and onboarded climate-savvy ambassadors who receive training in climate science, blockchain, advocacy, and community engagement, empowering them to drive change at the grassroots level.
Our first inaugural climate ambassador program onboaded 60 young ambassadors across Africa. We assessed their ability to effectively disseminate climate knowledge, often through community school visits, community meetings, and local events.
WORK: - Sponsored a IRL community clean-up and climate awareness campaign at Ikole- Ekiti State with over 20 young leaders participated during in outreach. - Carried out an incredible climate event at Omole Grammar School Ikeja, Lagos State, established an environmental club then onboarded Young Climate Smart Ambassadors to promote sustainability. IMPACT: - Empowered over 50 community members on climate change awareness, Engaged in the removal of waste and litter in public spaces, as a solution to environmental pollution. - Promoting the adoption of eco-friendly practices, such as waste reduction, tree planting, waste recycling, sustainable agriculture practices, and energy conservation.
