The grant will fund:
Dao Ashé Expo 2024 is a hybrid (physical and virtual) NFT exposition showcasing diverse artists, including women and non-binary creators, on the Arbitrum blockchain. The project educates, empowers, and provides a platform for artists from underrepresented communities to explore blockchain art technologies and Web3’s potential. It also focuses on onboarding and educating local communities about Arbitrum.
The Expo will feature:
Dao Ashé has been working since 2022 towards the empowerment and education of artists and activists from BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour), neurodiverse, LGTBIQ+ communities, and allied people who are capable of examining their privilege. Expo Dao Ashé 2024 will be an NFT Expo/Metaverse project and an in-person event showcasing cutting-edge art technologies on the blockchain.
Our project will feature artists from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds who will be onboarded to Arbitrum, and it will be both an educational arts event as well as an exhibition of work from the four corners of the world.
